On 26 September 2025, SVI Public Company Limited (SVI) celebrated the grand opening of its Tech Innovation Center in Hangzhou, China, a strategic move to strengthen the company’s global technology capabilities, supply chain resilience, and customer support network. The event featured SVI executives, including Mr. Patrick Loughran Macdonald, Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Mr. Apirak Saengsie, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), underscoring the center’s importance in SVI’s growth and innovation agenda.
The Hangzhou Tech Innovation Center is designed to drive innovation, accelerate technical transfers, and support customers relocating production from China to Southeast Asia. Acting as a hub for engineering collaboration, process optimization, and hands-on technical expertise, the center enables SVI to deliver faster, more flexible, and higher-quality solutions while also reinforcing its global supply chain management capabilities. By bridging China’s innovation ecosystem with SVI’s regional manufacturing sites, the center ensures continuity, competitive costs, and reliability for global customers.
