At SVI, sustainability extends beyond manufacturing excellence. It is embedded in how we engage with communities, protect natural resources, and empower our people to create long-term positive impact. As part of our ongoing commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, SVI recently organized a CSR initiative focused on water conservation and ecosystem restoration in Thailand.
SVI employee volunteers participated in hands-on environmental activities at Phu Khae Botanical Garden, a protected natural area that plays an important role in regional water and ecosystem balance. The initiative included:
These actions help regulate water flow during heavy rainfall, retain moisture in forest areas, support groundwater recharge, and maintain water availability throughout the year. The restored water systems benefit surrounding ecosystems while supporting long-term agricultural use, daily consumption needs, and environmental stability.
A key strength of this initiative was the active participation of SVI employees as volunteers. Their collective effort reflects SVI’s belief that meaningful sustainability progress is driven by people. By engaging employees directly in CSR activities, SVI fosters a culture of responsibility, collaboration, and environmental awareness that extends beyond the workplace.
This people-centered approach reinforces the “Social” dimension of ESG—encouraging employee engagement while strengthening the connection between business operations and community well-being.
This CSR activity represents SVI’s broader ESG strategy in action:
Rather than isolated initiatives, SVI views ESG as a continuous journey—one that aligns responsible operations with global sustainability expectations and stakeholder trust.
As a global electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider, SVI recognizes its role in contributing to a more sustainable future. Through initiatives like this, SVI continues to balance operational excellence with environmental stewardship and social responsibility—creating value not only for customers and partners, but also for communities and future generations.
