🔹 A 40-Year Milestone Worth Celebrating

In 1985, a small electronics packaging company was founded in Bangkok with a clear vision—to deliver quality manufacturing services with speed, reliability, and customer focus.
Four decades later, SVI stands as a global leader in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), with operations across Asia, Europe, and the United States.

As we celebrate our 40th anniversary, we reflect on the journey that shaped us and the values that continue to drive our future.

🔹 Humble Beginnings (1985–1999)

SVI was founded in 1985 in Chaeng Wattana, Bangkok, starting as a small COB (Chip-On-Board) packaging company.

Just four years later, SVI was listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET)—a bold milestone that reflected the company’s long-term ambition.

🔹 From Bangkok to Bangkadi, Pathum Thani – Laying the Foundation

In 2004, to support larger-scale operations, SVI relocated its headquarters to Bangkadi Industrial Estate in Pathum Thani, just north of Bangkok.
The move marked the beginning of a new era—one focused on expansion, engineering capability, and vertical integration.

🔹 Chapter 3: Building Scale and Capability (2011–2020)

Between 2010 and 2020, SVI underwent transformational growth:

• New state-of-the-art HQ offices opened at Bangkadi in 2013
• Facilities expanded (SVI 3, SVI 5, SVI 2B) to support increasing demand
• Strategic acquisitions brought operations in Austria, Slovakia, and Hungary into the SVI Group
• A new facility launched in Cambodia in 2019

The decade ended on a high note: SVI recorded its highest-ever revenue in 2020 and entered the high-performance 5G electronics segment.

🔹 The Future Is Now (2021–2025)

SVI’s journey didn’t slow down. It accelerated:

• In 2021, SVI acquired Tohoku Solutions, reinforcing its commitment to vertical integration and value-added services.
• In 2024, SVI expanded to the U.S. with a manufacturing facility in Washington State, strengthening its North America–Asia supply chain bridge.
• That same year, SVI launched its Technology & Innovation Centres in Bangkok, positioning the company for future-focused engineering.
• In 2025, we will open a new Technology & Innovation Centre in Hangzhou, China—bringing us closer to regional customers and future-forward talent.
