Manufacturing Success with SVI

Global Capabilities, Local Focus: How SVI Bridges Europe, Asia, and the Americas in Modern Manufacturing

Rethinking Supply Chains for a Connected World

After more than 25 years working with European OEMs across various industries, I’ve seen firsthand how rapidly the global manufacturing landscape has changed. Cost efficiency remains important, but today’s companies seek more — they need partners who can provide reliability, flexibility, and speed, while staying close to their end markets.

That’s why SVI takes a “Global Capabilities, Local Focus” approach. We combine the reach of a global EMS provider with the responsiveness of local engineering and business development support. Whether our customers are based in Europe, North America, or Asia, they can count on the same high standards and seamless communication across all SVI locations.

A Global EMS Network Built for Flexibility

SVI operates six production sites across five countries — in Thailand, Austria, Slovakia, Cambodia, and the USA — supported by technical centers and sales offices in Thailand, Cambodia, Japan, China, Austria, Slovakia, Denmark, Germany, and the USA.

This global network allows us to prototype close to the customer and scale production where it makes the most sense, without compromising quality or lead time. For example, European OEMs can work directly with our teams in Austria or Slovakia during development and NPI, then seamlessly transition into volume production at our Thailand or Cambodia facilities for competitive scalability.

By maintaining consistent processes and communication across all regions, SVI helps customers reduce risk, gain flexibility, and stay in control — no matter where their products are built.

Thailand: The Heart of SVI’s Global Operations

While SVI’s footprint spans three continents, Thailand remains our operational hub — home to our headquarters and centralized functions in engineering, supply chain, and advanced automation.

Thailand’s combination of skilled workforce, modern infrastructure, and export efficiency makes it an ideal base for global EMS operations. It’s where we manage complex box-builds, high-mix PCBAs, and turnkey manufacturing for industries ranging from industrial and communication to automotive and healthcare.

For many European OEMs, Thailand offers the right balance — cost-effective production with uncompromising quality, backed by a stable business environment and advanced logistics network.

Local Expertise for European Customers

Our European team, based in Denmark, Austria, Slovakia, and Germany, provides the local partnership that customers value most — direct communication, engineering support, and cultural alignment.

With over 25 years of experience in the EMS industry, my focus is on ensuring that European clients feel connected and supported at every stage. This local presence enables quick response times, smoother coordination, and better project visibility, while our production teams across Asia and the USA deliver the scalability customers need to grow.

As I often say, “Resilience isn’t only about logistics — it’s about trust & Relationship.

Our customers know that SVI can adapt quickly, without ever compromising on quality.”

Real Resilience Through Global Collaboration

SVI’s global footprint gives us the ability to balance workloads and mitigate risks. When challenges arise — from component shortages to regional disruptions — our teams work collaboratively across sites to keep projects on schedule and customers informed.

This agility defines SVI’s strength: a truly global manufacturing network that acts as one team.

Looking Ahead

For European OEMs, building resilience and flexibility into supply chains is no longer optional — it’s essential. With SVI’s global manufacturing capabilities and strong local support, customers gain the best of both worlds: proximity, partnership, and performance.

At SVI, our mission is simple — to help our clients succeed not only in production but also in building supply chains that are ready for the future.

“Global capabilities and local focus — that’s how we build trust, deliver value, and create long-term partnerships,” says Carsten Bremerskov.
